Ali lives with her partner in a cottage near a small West Wales village, having come to the area to do an English degree at Lampeter University. She started off engraving walking staffs. Each one a unique piece of work, it's incised and coloured design reflecting Ali's interests in paganism and mythology. Recently she has been carving finely detailed Celtic rings and fertility figures from a variety of woods. Next she plans to experiment with larger work. Ali travels to festivals in a LPG powered Dodge truck.
