All of these ring were carved from slices off a boxwood (boxus
semperivens) branch. The center was drilled out and the detail carved with
penknife and chisels.
"Bast" a carving in yew (taxus baccata) representing the
Egyptian cat goddess of wisdom. She holds an ankh, the symbol of life.
