Reclining Woman by Nansi Hemming |

| This slightly
over life size statue was carved from a huge oak log on the 12th.
and 13th. of august at the Swansea Ecofest in Singleton Park. The
work was carried out with a chainsaw and then finished by chisel. The
finished piece is in Bishop's Wood local nature reserve and is referred to
locally as "Nansi and her dog". Unfortunately this work has recently been decapitated by an art collector with a bow saw! (09/06/04 ) More to follow. |
